K&D Engagement Session | Alberta Engagement Photographer

It's always exciting spending time getting to know my wedding clients before their big day!
Kelsey and Dano are so much fun and were amazing at their engagement session. They went along with doing the session outdoors, braving the stupid deep freeze we've been in, they didn't complain once!
Thank you for shivering through with me! At least your wedding day will not only be amazing it will feel like a tropical paradise in comparison lol.

Congrats to you both!

A little love in the snow | Engagement Photographer Cadomin

I have known Brittney and Kory for sometime now, I have had the pleasure of photographing them and their two beautiful girls. I was so happy when they announced they were getting married and had set a date, then when they asked me to photograph it :)

They wanted to go somewhere that had meaning for the engagement photos, Cadomin not only beautiful also had a lot of meaning for them both, trips at christmas and summer camping.

Low and behold we would head out on one of the worst days we have had all winter :( hoping it would get better as we got closer we were committed. Nope snow storm extraordinair!

Although they were wet and cold they still smiled and laughed like nobody was watching!!!!!

These two make me smile every time I see them, both light hearted and always happy, even when the girls are being "girls" they always find a way to smile and make the best of it. There love for each other is undeniable. The way Brittney laughs every time Kory is near and the look Kory gets when he stares at her. It is truly beautiful to see!

I can't wait for your wedding this year, it will be beautiful and I would hope it a tad warmer!

Engagement Photographer | C&R Engagement Session

All I can say is welcome to Alberta!  All excited we set out to Gregg Lake just past Hinton for a fall engagement session.  15 min from our destination we see a little snow.....another km more snow.......almost there and it's a foot deep! Although we were a little sad it sure was pretty and we would make the best of it.

Robert and Carina graciously had us stay at their family cabin and well the idea of a little cabin in snow covered woods just makes my heart sing! We had a blast and appreciated all their hospitality!

Saturday we set out for the locations they had in mind, low and behold back roads were closed due to all the snow and with each hike to the spots we took we had to watch for heavy falling snow.  It made for many smiles and laughs.  Now trying to find another beautiful location we headed to Jasper were the beauty is endless. 10 min into the drive and where did all the snow go?  This even now makes me giggle 10 min one way snow, 10 min the other no snow. We found our spots and started unloading as mother nature decided she wasn't done with us yet. 60-80 km winds out of no where!

Needless to say this was an interesting day and I have a new appreciation for these two and their dedication. They pushed though the deep snow, the wicked cold and fought the wind through every pose!
You both are so amazingly cute and if my "Just one more" wasn't any indication your love is beautiful to capture.  I can not wait to photograph your wedding day and thankfully it will be a tad warmer!

The cabin means a lot to them both and Carina really wanted photos by the fire, after the day we had it just couldn't be more fitting to cozy up fireside with a glass of wine!
